"Tetris"
About the Project
Taking advantage of projection mapping technology I learned from graduate school, I projected all the shapes of Tetris game on a wall formed by post-its. Each piece corresponds to a pixel from the game, and the projection simulates the visual effect of color change.

Tetris is a worldwide popular pc game. Based on low-resolution display and pixelated formation, it provides players with countless possibilities within a simple rule.

In this project, I followed the rule of Tetris, but extended it into a bigger scale. Taking advantage of projection mapping technology I learned from graduate school, I projected all the shapes of Tetris game on a wall formed by post-its. Each piece corresponds to a pixel from the game, and the projection simulates the visual effect of color change.

So it seems like the color of post-its are keep changing, but actually it's simulated by the projector. The illusion is interesting, especially when you see it from a side view.
